Your Kitesurf Licence
When doing a kite course at WaveBandits you get your personal kitesurfing licence showing the level you achieved during your kiteboarding lesson. Depending which certification you prefer you get an IKO Kiteboarder Licence or a VDWS Kite Licence. Both are accepted worldwide.
Why do you need a Kiteboarder's Licence?
This card (with its unique licence number) is a proof of your aquired kiting level and is shown to the kite centre when Renting Kite Equipment.
The kiteboarder's licence serves as a document that guarantees that its owner has the sufficient basic skills in kitesurfing and is able to exercise this sport in accordance to the environment and his fellow sportsmen.
